Here we are. You are responsible for Airworthiness management. You have written your own Aircraft Maintenance Programme. You have an up-to-date Kardex reflecting the state of your aircraft regarding to all the maintenance operations. Now comes the time you need to trigger a visit. You have your independent mechanics and he requires a Work Order to do the work.

Work Orders must contain some mandatory informations, including the revision of the AMP, the revision of the AMM, the aircraft, propeller and engine total time and last overhaul. The time since the last CRS (Certificate of Release to Service). And of course, the list of operations you wan to order.

To make things easier, I have created a dynamic Work Order generation tool which is linked to the Kardex. To use it, you can call operations which are reaching their limit in the next XX hours and / or XX days. It will select the corresponding operations, and fill the Work Order accordingly. In case you want to add or remove manually and operation, it is also possible.

Each time you create a Work Order, it will generate a PDF, and create a line in a second page, pre-filled with the known informations. This will allow you to keep a list of all the maintenance performed. Also, you will be able to update your Kardex with the latest maintenance, directly from this list.

The Work Order generation tool works in good harmony with the Kardex. If you want it, I’ll ask a fee of 150,-€ to configure the software on your Google account.
